CSG auction is Tuesday It's time once again to celebrate the Valley with Citizens for Smart Growth at the organization's third annual silent auction. The event will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Inn at Ellsworth Estate in Hailey. Attendants can enjoy wine and local beer provided by River Bend Brewing Company and appetizers created by the famed Esta Hornstein. Nonalcoholic beverages will be provided as well. “We were fortunate to get a number of amazing auction items,” said Kris Olenick, CSG director of operations. “We are extremely appreciative of the support we have received from the community. There really will be something for everybody.” The auction will feature more than 60 bid packages. Auction items include fabulous getaways, such as a weeklong stay at Casa Christensen in Akumal, Mexico. The auction will also feature a guitar autographed by Carole King, a home improvement consultation with Sun Valley Solar, an alternative transportation package with bus tickets, and an Electra cruiser bike and Pixar Movie package. There are plenty of outdoor, exercise, drink and dinner packages to choose from, as well as artwork and jewelry. “It's too much to name everything,” said Kelly Jackson, CSG director of outreach and communication. “Everyone should come and shop around at the auction and join us in celebrating the Valley.” Bidding for silent auction items will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Phone in bidding is also available during this time by calling (208) 309-5555.
