Reimer on the run By KELLY JACKSON
The Wood River Journal ~ Ketchum Ketchum Police are looking for help locating Deborah A. Reimer. Accused of attempted murder after a shooting in July, she was released from jail a month ago following a bond reduction from $500,000 to $50,000. The release stipulated several requirements, including that she wear a GPS monitoring bracelet, remain in Idaho and more. The bond reduction met with opposition from Robert “Bob” Dreyer, who she allegedly attempted to shoot one morning in July while he was showering in his New Meadows home, and Prosecuting Attorney Jim Thomas. Both believed Reimer was a high flight risk. Apparently, they were right. According to a press release from Kim M. Rogers, public information officer for the City of Ketchum, at approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, “Reimer's ankle bracelet indicated tampering and battery removal.” Police believe she removed the tracking ankle bracelet while in Twin Falls. “She is well dressed and carrying a black knap-sack,” the release states. “She should be considered armed and dangerous and she has previous knowledge of firearms.” Rogers said police are not speculating as to where Reimer might have fled, but did say she is not where she is supposed to be. Following her release from Gooding County Jail near the beginning of October, Reimer was supposed to stay with Thomas Pritscher, a friend of hers who lives in Gooding. At Reimer's bond reduction hearing, Pritscher testified on her behalf. Judge Barry Wood issued a $1,000,000 warrant for Reimer's arrest on Tuesday because, by tampering with her ankle bracelet, she had violated the terms of her bond agreement. Reimer spent approximately two and a half months in jail before Wood agreed to reduce her bond. She faces the second-degree attempted murder charge for allegedly firing two shots at Dryer, her ex-boyfriend, on the morning of July 18. Reimer's next court appearance, a status hearing, is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Keith Roark is Reimer's defense attorney in the case.
