Betty Margaret Walters, 68, died Friday, June 27, 2003 at Ulysses, Kan. Services were held today at the First Baptist Church in Granite. The Rev. Arol Steverson officiated. Interment was held at the Brinkman Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Greer Funeral Home in Granite.

Caudell J.W. "Red" Caudell, 74, Duke, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at the Grace Living Center in Altus. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rock Cemetery in Duke with the Rev. Roy Jaye officiating under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established at the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Duke.

Zeta Mae Walker was born June 24, 1922 at Carter to Ellard Anderton and Jewel Breeze Anderton and died at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City July 1, 2003 at the age of 81. Funeral services were held Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Carter, with John Rodgers officiating. Interment was to follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of People's Funeral Home, Lone Wolf. Wilton "Ray" Churchwell, 75, Blair, died July 4, 2003 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Randy Mitchell and the Rev. Gene Foreman will officiate and interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.

Fred Gribble, 86, Altus, died Saturday, July 5, 2003. A graveside funeral service has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Eldorado Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Burr officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Margarette Veda Tillery Moon died July 6, 2003 in Oklahoma City at the age of 94. A memorial service was held today at the First United Methodist Church of Altus.

Betty Cerise Myers, 67, died July 5, 2003 at the home of her sister in Mangum. Funeral services were held today at the First Baptist Church in Vinson. Interment was to follow at Vinson Cave Creek Cemetery. Stewart Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Margarette Veda Tillery Moon died July 6, 2003 in Oklahoma City at the age of 94. A memorial service was held Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Altus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the music department of the First United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice in her honor.

Dorothy Alma Perry was born July 12, 1913 in Ellinwood, Kansas to Henry and Mary (Schroeder) Miller and died July 8, 2003 in Hobart at the age of 89. Services will be, Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lone Wolf with Rev. Ronald Boelte officiating. Interment will be in the Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of People's Co-Operative Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home in Mangum.

Burial was to follow at he Tipton Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Tipton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice in loving memory of Virgie Pauline Wolfe.

Richard P. Reid, 67, a well known registered land surveyor and community volunteer, died Friday, July 11, 2003. Annie Agnes (Bell) Stegall, 92, of Hollis died Sunday, July 12, 2003 at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hollis Church of Christ with the Rev. Bill Osborne officiating. Interment will be at the Gould Cemetery under the direction of Patterson Greer Funeral Home. The family requested memorials be made to Westview Boys Home or the Gould Cemetery.

Cora Earlene Sibley, 48, died July 9, 2003 after a long illness. Memorial services are pending.

Haden Ewing Young was born October 4, 1912 to James Haden Young and Georgia Annie Canterberry Young at Sedan, second of eight children, and died July 13, 2003 at the age of 90 .

Alma Simonton, 87, of Hollis died at her home Monday, July 14, 2003. Funeral services for Alma Simonton will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Patterson Greer Chapel in Hollis with the Rev. Mark Farr officiating. Interment will follow at the Childress Cemetery in Childress, Texas.

Roy Junior Trammell died July 13, 2003, at the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 77. Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Eldorado with the Rev. Billy Hall and the Rev. Pete Wylie officiating. Burial will be at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. The family request that instead of flowers please make contributions to the Eldorado Public school in memory of Roy Trammell.

Funeral service for Iva Juanita Manning, age 85, of Fredrick, will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joe May, and Rev. Pete Wylie, officiating.
